Hi, I'm Cathy and I wanted to tell you a little bit about me so you'd know why I started my party bag business and hopefully give you some confidence about buying my party bags. I was born in the UK and came to Australia in 2001 with my children. I have 4 children all together and live with my husband and his 2 children, altogether I'm bringing up 6 children so you can imagine I have had plenty of practise at running children's parties.

So why did I decide to start a business selling party bags - Well 2 reasons really, firstly after the birth of my last child I really wanted to find something I could do from home so I didn't have to go back to work after my maternity leave. Although I loved my work I loved my daughter more and wanted to be able to stay at home with her until she started school, something I had been able to do for my other 3 children which were all born in the UK but circumstances change and my husbands income on it's own wasn't going to pay the bills!

My second reason was simply born of my frustration of not being able to find suitable gifts to give my children's friends in their party loot bags. Sure I could just buy a big bag of lollies and divide them up amoung the bags but I didn't want to be responsible for filling all the kids up with sugar so they were still climbing the walls at midnight. There were the multi packs of balloons or novelties but they never came in the correct quantities and if you bought the same things individually they cost you twice as much. I tried keeping the extras until the next party but the balloons had perished and the extra toys I had weren't quite enough and of course I couldn't buy the same things anywhere! So I ended up with extras of most things that eventually got thrown away - what a waste.

The idea for my business came as I was looking once more for some great ideas for party bags when I came across a bulk buy of little chinese puzzles, a perfect little gift the only problem was to get them at the great price you had to buy 200! Even with 6 children 200 puzzles was going a bit too far but it sowed the seed for the business. I soon discovered lots of other similar bargains all needing me to buy large quantities but meaning they were at well below retail value. So finally I decided to bite the bullet and invested in some stock. I started out with just enough variety to fill a bag with a nice selection of goodies but of course every bag was the same. I have slowly built up my stock and will continue to do so, each time you visit this website I hope you will see new items available. Now I can offer a fair range of novelties that suit children from about 4 - 11 years old and there's enough variety that if you have 2 or 3 children you can get different contents in the party bags for each party you throw.
